How do I become a member?
Click on JOIN US. Fill in our registration form. Choose a password that
allows you to enter the member's area, where you can register online for events.

Can I attend an event before joining Single Horizons (SH)?
Absolutely! As a trial member you may attend any SH event at member pricing before
membership is due. Guests are welcome!

Why do people join?
Some members are new to the city, have just gotten out of a relationship or are too busy
to meet others. SH provides the perfect opportunity to expand your network of friends
and maintain an active social calendar. It's easy! Sign up, show up and have fun!

I don't know anyone, how can I come alone?
Most of our members join by themselves. Usually because the majority of their friends
are married or don't have the same interests. We have a very friendly group of members
that will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. And with new members joining
every day, you will not be the only new member at an event. We also hold Meet n Greets
every month which promote a very relaxed way to get to know other members. There is
always a SH representative there to meet you and introduce you to others.

Is it true that you do over 15 events per month?
Yes, and sometimes more! No other singles club in the country offers the choice of activities
and events that Single Horizons does. All activities are geared to beginners, the whole idea is
for you to try something NEW! Last year we planned over 240 activities, here are some examples;
Archery, Biking, Billiards, Blue Jays Games, Bowling, Brunch, Canoeing, Camping, Charity Drives,
Comedy Clubs, Cruises Cycling, Dancing, Darts, Dog Sledding, Dragon Boat Racing, Fine Dining, Golf,
Hiking, Horseback Riding, Ice Skating, Karaoke, Kayaking, Llama Trekking, Latin Dance Lessons, Murder
Mystery Nights, Museums, Restaurants, Road Trips, Sailing, Ski Lessons, Softball, Spectator Sports,
Theatre, Travel, Volleyball, Walks, Weekend Trips, Wine Tasting, and much more!

How do I pay for events?
The majority of our events are payable "at the door". If an event is prepaid it
will list the due date and you have time to send a cheque or call the office with your
Visa or Mastercard. Please make sure you UNRSVP for an event if you can't make
it as many events fill up quickly and it will allow another member to take your spot.

Where do your members live?
SH members live across Toronto and the GTA , Barrie, Peterborough, Hamilton and
beyond. We do events in Toronto/York Region/Mississauga/Scarborough and are adding
events in Halton and Durham region.

What age are your members?
Our "young at heart" members are in their 40's and 50's.

How much do events cost?
SH receives group discounts on many of the activities we plan and passes the savings
along to our members. Discounted theatre tickets, baseball games, dining and
more. If an event is no cost to us, it is no cost to you. All our hikes
and walks are always FREE!

How much is membership?
Very reasonable - 1 Month is $21.35, 6 Months $95.23 and 1 Year $138.03 – All prices
include GST. Membership can be made by cheque payable to Single Horizons, Visa or
Mastercard. We appreciate your referrals and both you and your referral will
receive an extra month Free!

What do members enjoy most about the club?
